Website FAQ's
Below are a series of questions we frequently get asked on the Digicambuyer website. If your question is not listed below, then please contact us.
How do I compare cameras?
The search works by using a process of elimination minimising the chance of your search returning no results.
Using the Primary and Secondary search criteria boxes you can select the two most important things that you are searching for. You will then be presented with a list of all the cameras that match these attributes. You can then refine your search by filling out the form that will appear.
If you’re struggling to decide on which camera to choose, use this facility to compare the cameras you are interested in.
I have seen the letters DCB mentioned on the website, what does this stand for?
DCB stands for Digital Camera Buyer.
How do I become a member of the website?
To become a member, simply fill in the registration form in the ‘Become a Member’ section of the website and your account will be activated. Once your account has been created, you will be able to edit your details via the ‘My Profile’ section.
How do I submit a camera review?
To submit a review on the Digicambuyer website, a user must firstly be logged into the website. Then by viewing the ‘users reviews’ section in a cameras profile, a simple form is supplied to enter the review.
PLEASE NOTE: Imagine Publishing Ltd reserves the right to remove any user review it deems inappropriate to that of the subject matter.
I haven’t received an account activation email for the forum?
Our activation emails are automatically generated, so sometimes they will get lost in spam filters or in junk mail files. If you fail to receive an activation email, please contact us via DCBsite@imagine-publishing.co.uk
I have signed up to the website, but can’t log on to the forum?
For security reasons, our current website and forum are not linked, so registering an account on the Digicambuyer website does not mean you are registered to the forum. This also helps to prevent our users from receiving any unwanted spam. The plan is to migrate these at some point in the near future.
Where can I purchase a copy of Digital Camera Buyer magazine?
The easiest way to purchase a copy of Digital Camera Buyer Magazine is via our eShop www.imagineshop.co.uk
