Samsung ST100 Review

Preview Samsung ST600 and ST100

The Samsung ST600 and ST100 – two latest models to join the Samsung 2View line-up. These models look like regular cameras, with sleek shiny bodywork all over. But turn on the front LCD and a digital picture appears on the front of the body. You use this screen for a number of things, such as self portraits (of just you or a couple), a children’s setting to play a cartoon to keep kids looking at the camera and best of all – the jumping photo!

Select this mode and a count down appears on the front LCD, enabling the ‘jumpers’ to get ready and prepare for lift off. After a few false starts with the pre-production model (mostly due to our jumping skills as opposed to the camera), we managed to capture our mid-air antics (although it appears my enthusiasm for jumping photos may exceed  everyone else on the team!). I can’t wait to get my hands on the finished model – expect a variety of jump shots appearing in the mag soon!
