Ricoh VF-2 Viewfinder |

The VF-2 is designed to offer an alternative to shooting with the GXR’s LCD. The biggest design asset is the ability to tilt through 90 degrees, allowing the user to shoot from angles that would be impossible using the LCD alone.
Constructed from solid plastic, the VF-2 feels robust and comfortable to use, thanks to a large rubberised cup surrounding the viewfinder window. Being an EVF (electronic viewfinder) the image quality cannot compare to that of an optical viewfinder on a DSLR. However, the VF-2 does offer one of the higher resolutions (920,000 dots) on the current market, and puts in an impressive performance for the most part.

Final Verdict The VF-2 isn’t cheap and results aren’t perfect, but it impresses in comparison to competitor’s offerings
