Jessops Major Carbon- Fibre tripod

DATE REVIEWED: 20th Jan 2010

Review

Return to Latest Accessories »

If you often trek far to get that perfect shot or find the best location, then weight will feature high on your list of tripod priorities. This tripod’s carbon-fibre legs and centre column certainly make it lightweight and very robust, which is ideal for those wanting to take their tripod on a hike.

The tripod comes with a magnesium alloy three-way pan and tilt head, which is fully removable. It features a quick-release platform, perfect for loading up your camera at a moment’s notice to get that shot. A clearly visible bubble level sits on the head to give you super level shots. Pair this with the three-section legs with flip locks and its reversible rubber and spike option

feet and you have yourself a pretty

good all-rounder.

Final Verdict
A strong and lightweight model, which is easy to use and perfect for taking on long photographic trips
